DEM members present 5 papers at the XXV Congreso Nacional de Ingeniería Mecánica held in Santander
Jul 05, 2025
From June 10 to 13, 2025, the XXV Congreso Nacional de Ingeniería Mecánica was held at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales y de Telecomunicación of the Universidad de Cantabria.
Professors Rosa Pàmies, Joan Puig, Enrique Zayas and student Pítia Claret attended the congress and presented five papers in the fields of biomechanics, manufacturing engineering and metrology, machines, and mechanisms.
The congress saw a high level of participation, with over 200 papers presented and excellent organization by the members of the Department of Structural and Mechanical Engineering at the Universidad de Cantabria.
It also featured two very interesting keynote lectures: “La fábrica del futuro: el qué y el cómo”, delivered by Luis Norberto López de Lacalle, and “Modelos multiescala aplicados al sistema musculoesquelético: retos y avances”, delivered by María Prado.
All the papers presented at the congress are available on the publication website of the Asociación Española de Ingeniería Mecánica. The papers presented by DEM members are listed below:
Biomechanics
- Desarrollo de una prótesis de mano funcional y asequible para realizar tareas cotidianas de manera autónoma
- Formula Student como laboratorio de innovación docente: optimización biomecánica de la posición de conducción
Manufacturing engineering and metrology
Machines and Mechanisms
