The ETSEIB team that achieved first place in the last state Olympiad has participated in the 6th Students International Olympiad On Mechanism and Machine Science held from November 26 to 28 in Almaty (Kazakhstan).
On this occasion, the team achieved a meritorious 2nd prize, behind the first awarded ex aequo to three teams from Russia, China and Romania. The ETSEIB team also received special distinction as the team with the best analysis skills.
The ETSEIB team was formed by Júlia Aguilera Bort, Pablo Salieti Escudero and Samuel Tovías Álvarez accompanied by the professor of Theory of Machines and Mechanisms, Joan Puig Ortiz. All four value the experience very positively, both in the academic and social aspects. Having contact with other people with similar interests and being able to discover a Central Asian country that is quite unknown in our country has been very enriching.
